Well it was just a matter of time before some commie scientists named an extinct animal after the 44th president of the United States. Obamadon gracilis is the name, and the foot-long creature — which was discovered in a
fossil bed in Montana — has been extinct for about 65 million years. And
ironically, its extinction may indicate that paleolithic changes in
climate affected animals differently than previously believed.

rethinking the idea that the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs

There is now a decade of its existence to reflect on.The genesis of the law can be traced to the Convention on Biological Diversity(CBD), which was signed at the Rio Summit in 1992. As Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee hoped in his Budget speech, his announcements for exemptions for environment-friendly bio-diesel earned him smiles from environmentalists. Mukherjee announced the government’s decision to fully exempt petro-diesel blended with bio-diesel from excise duty. The Finance Minister said in order to encourage the use of this environment friendly fuel, the government proposed to reduce basic custom duty on green fuel, also known as bio-diesel fuel, from 7.5 per cent to 2.5 per cent at par with petrol-diesel. “With these proposals, I hope to see a smile on faces of the green brigade,” he said....
